This country, long before its booming growth as an international hub, has captured our interest with its amazing transformation, rich culture, and modern architecture. Finally, this summer, we felt that it is high time to pack up and head out for our lifetime adventure.

After doing some homework, we decided that this dynamic city of Lusail would be the ideal place to base our exploration. Lusail is a showcase of the ambition and modernity of Qatar and will offer such diversity in activities and experiences to keep different interests among us at bay. They listened very carefully to our requirements and preferences, and a few days later presented us with the perfect option: a very spacious, beautifully appointed villa right in the heart of Lusail. With ample living space, a private pool, and stunning views across the city skyline, this villa had it all. We were, needless to say, overjoyed.

Finally, upon arrival in Qatar, we were met by a Saakin representative who would take us to the villa. Entering the premises, we could feel the enormity of the building and the detailing. We spent the next few days in a spree of activities, soaking up the rich culture and breathtaking architecture that Lusail had to offer. With the team at Saakin’s recommendations, we stopped by the iconic Lusail Stadium, the breathtaking Katara Cultural Village, and serene Lusail Lagoon—each one making us aghast at Qatar’s metamorphosis.

One of the trip’s highlights was the visit to the Museum of Islamic Art, with its beautiful collections but even more impressive structure designed by I.M. Pei, the famous architect. Indeed, our daughter was most fascinated by the intricate calligraphy and vibrant geometrical patterns that got her very interested in this region’s rich cultural heritage.
Lusail City
Equally unforgettable was the evening promenade along the Lusail Corniche, where we admired the shimmering skyscrapers and placid waterfront. With the day waning and the setting sun having drawn us right into the heart of the action at Lusail Boulevard, we were there to have a taste of their cosmopolitan cuisine and soak in the pulse of the city.
Large, elegant living areas; the villa had a large open-concept living room with plush seating and great city views. There was also a formal dining area that seated 8 guests, while a gourmet kitchen was fully equipped with high-end appliances.
Luxurious Bedrooms
It had a master bedroom with a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom, and a walk-in closet. Two more bedrooms provided accommodations with queen-size beds and plenty of storage space. All the bedrooms had premium linens, blackout curtains, and temperature controls.

The master bathroom was truly a paradise for relaxation, outfitted with a freestanding tub, dual vanities, and a walk-in rain shower. The secondary bathrooms were also modern, with high-end fixtures and finishes.

The villa had a private swimming pool with temperature control, surrounded by ample lounging space. The furnished patio and the balconies offer views over the vibrant Lusail cityscape, with manicured gardens and lush greenery that create a tranquil atmosphere.
State-of-the-Art Technology
The villa came equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi throughout, smart home automation for lighting, temperature, and security and an entertainment system complete with large flat-screen TV and premium cable channels.
Exceptional Amenities
It also had in-villa laundry facilities, a parking space dedicated to the guests, and 24/7 concierge service with security. Indeed, the attention to detail and quality of the facilities made our Lusail stay luxurious and truly memorable.
World-Class Service and Hospitality
The staff at Saakin continued to offer outstanding service during our stay, catering to every whim. They arranged for us to have private transportation, reservations at the finest restaurants, and even set up a traditional Qatari cooking class so our family could further immerse ourselves in the culture.
Reluctant to Leave
As our holiday drew to an end, so we found ourselves not wanting to leave this wonderful city and our luxurious villa in Saakin. The memories we had made—the amazing architecture, the cultural high moments, and unparalleled hospitality—left an indelible mark on our hearts and minds.
Reflecting on the Experience
We couldn’t help but admire the foresight and vision of the Qatari government and the team at Saakin, which has brought this country to the global map of innovation and tourism. We did feel so privileged to be part of this journey.
Planning for the Next Visit
As we bid our reluctant goodbyes to Qatar, deep inside, we know that this won’t be our last time. We are already planning our next family trip, and needless to say, Saakin will be our very first point of call. From the way it has so readily strived to achieve the best in service and make the experience truly unforgettable, it has become an absolute necessity in discovering this magnificent nation.
