3 Very Delicious Strawberry Treats You Should Try at Home

Everyone, whether they are a youngster or an adult, cannot help but enjoy a sweet treat. Kids have a natural craving for sweets, but too much sugar and empty calories aren’t good for them. Therefore make sure to serve something on the healthier side while making them a snack or dessert. Strawberries are a fantastic ingredient to use in kid-friendly sweets because they’re delicious and healthy.

Try making one of these delicious strawberry sweets for kids at home:

Delicious strawberry oat bars

What you require:

2 cups fresh strawberries, small diced
1 cup rolled old-fashioned oats
all-purpose flour, 3/4 cup
a third cup of light brown sugar
6 tablespoons of melted unsalted butter
1 teaspoon lemon juice that has just been squeezed
1 tablespoon of sugar, granulated
Cornstarch, 1 teaspoon
1/8 teaspoon of ginger powder
1/8 of a teaspoon of kosher salt
In a larger bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, ginger, and kosher salt. After adding the melted butter, stir everything together thoroughly. Set aside 1/2 cup of the mixture. On a parchment-lined 8×8-inch baking sheet, press the remaining ingredients.
Place half of the strawberries on top of the crust and sprinkle with the cornstarch, lemon juice, and remaining 1/2 tablespoon of sugar. Top with the remaining berries and the saved crumble. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 375°F until brown and the fruit is bubbling. To totally cool, refrigerate. Slice the finished product into bars to enjoy.

Strawberries stuffed with Nutella

What you require:

Fresh strawberries, 15 pieces
50 ml of Nutella
14 cup of finely chopped toasted almonds
The strawberries should be cut in half lengthwise. With a 1/4 teaspoon, hollow out the strawberry’s halves. Each strawberry half should have around 1/2 teaspoon of Nutella in it. Next, generously sprinkle chopped almonds on top. Serve and eat right away.
Simple Ice Cream Strawberry Shortcake

What you require:

2 cups of finely chopped fresh strawberries plus more for the topping
2 cups of cream, thick
1 cup of poundcake, with extra for the topping
sweetened condensed milk in one can
With a mixer, beat the heavy cream until firm peaks form. Add the condensed milk, poundcake, and strawberries. The mixture should be poured into a 9×5 loaf pan. Add more strawberries and poundcake on top. For at least 5 to 6 hours, cover and freeze in the refrigerator until hard.
When ready, take out of the fridge and let sit out for a while to soften before serving.
